Processheat have developed a range of flexible heating panels to provide precise uniform heat output. These innovative panels are manufactured to standard sizes, however, such is their flexibility, they can also be manufactured to individual requirements, suiting the specific surface area to which they are to be applied.
Uniform low watt density output helps prevent discolouration of heat sensitive products, as heat is applied over a large surface area to ensure high thermal efficiency.
The heating panels are constructed from resistance elements, laminated between layers of heat resistant flexible insulation and silicone rubber. These panels are formed with precise semi-circular turns, which are positioned centrally in the laminate, thereby eliminating stress when the panel is curved or flexed.
Flexible heating panels from Processheat have a maximum withstand temperature of 180°C, with a power density output up to 3KW/MZ and can be supplied in any voltage up to 240v.
All these heating panels are resistant to moisture, as well as most chemicals, making them suitable for outdoor use, frost protection or for process temperature applications.
Processheat heating panels can also be installed on both horizontal or vertical storage tanks, suitably attached to either metal or non-metallic surfaces by a proprietary silicone adhesive. Aluminium adhesive tape is applied to the perimeter of the panels to prevent insulation migration.
For efficient operation, the installation of the panels must be in close contact with the vessel surface and controlled by surface sensing thermostats.
Heating panels from Processheat are truly flexible in usage, providing economy of operation with long term reliability and durability
